Your Public Profile is shown to guests on your property pages. It lets you add a display name, photo, and bio so guests can learn about you before booking.
/host?tab=account-security&accountSub=profile (the older /host/public-profile page still opens the same editor). You can edit your profile any of these ways; all show the same form and live preview.
/host?tab=account-security&accountSub=profile.Your display name is required and appears as "Hosted by [Your Name]" on property pages. Enter how you want guests to see you.
Add a bio (up to 600 characters) to introduce yourself. This appears below your name on the host profile card. Use the Writing assistant button next to the field to get AI-generated suggestions based on your profile and properties.
Toggle Show on property pages to display your host profile card on each of your property and multi-unit pages. This toggle is only available after you add a display name.
This card is your name, photo, and bio. It is not the public contact box (host name, location, email, phone, WhatsApp). Those rows are stored on each listing or multi-unit site, copied from your account when the site is created, then edited independently. Each site can hide individual rows, and the site footer has its own Show contact info switch.
Editing this profile in Settings does not update any site's contact rows. When you edit it through Edit profile on a site's Contact tab instead, changing your display name or base location also updates that site's Host name and Location rows. Only the fields you change are copied, and other sites are left as they are.
See Contact Information — Public vs. In-stay.
When editing, a live preview shows how your profile will appear to guests. Use it to confirm your photo, name, and bio look right before saving.
