A profile page is a Haven listing for a stay that already has its own website. Guests browse the stay on Haven — photos, story, amenities, reviews, and an approximate map — then book on that website. The listing is free and does not count toward your plan.
Use a profile when you want a stay on a multi-unit site (and in Haven stay search) but bookings stay on the property's existing site.
Do not use a profile when you want guests to book on Haven. Build a full listing instead. A profile cannot be turned into a full listing later.
Haven creates the listing, adds it to the collection, and reads the website for its photos, copy, and brand. The collection card opens the Haven profile page. Guests book with Book direct on {website}.
You can add a profile only from this collection dialog.
Haven reads the homepage and the pages it links to (rooms, about, gallery, dining), not just the address you pasted.
Everything is editable afterwards. Change photos under Space → Photos and the logo, colors, and fonts under Layout → Brand.
A profile does not take on your own brand from Grow your brand → Brand, because it represents someone else's property. If the website has no readable logo or colors, the page uses Haven's default look until you set them.
Haven reads the website once, when the profile is created. To read it again, after the property updates its site or to refresh a profile made earlier, open the listing editor, choose Website link, and click Re-read website.
Tick what you want replaced:
Anything left unticked is not touched. A re-read takes a couple of minutes and runs in the background. When it finishes, the same panel lists what was kept and what was skipped. Save any change to the website link before you re-read; Haven reads the saved link.
The profile is one page: the property's logo, a photo gallery, the title and approximate location, story cards, the description, amenities, reviews, an approximate map, and a sticky Book direct button. There is no Haven calendar, checkout, or site tabs.
Profile pages are public and indexable. They appear in your site's sitemap and its llms.txt, with the property's own website given as the place to book. They are not listed in Haven's guest search at bookwithhaven.com/stays, or in Haven's stay catalog for AI assistants: guest search lists only stays that take booking requests on Haven. A collection whose only public members are profiles does not appear there either. To be found in guest search, the property needs a full Haven listing.
When someone searches the collection by dates, the card says Check dates on their site. It is never marked available or unavailable.
Open the listing from Listings (look for the Profile badge). The editor shows:
Arrival guide, pricing, availability, calendar sync, cancellation, fees, domain, and the booking widget stay hidden.
A profile is a single page, so it cannot have extra pages. Under Layout, New tab, Local Guide, Blog, FAQ, and Experiences are shown but switched off.
If the website link is missing or not a valid https address, the profile page has no Book direct button and Settings shows an error until you fix it.
A profile does not count toward your included listings and is not billed.
A profile stays a profile. There is no switch that turns one into a bookable Haven site.
When a property should take bookings on Haven, or needs tabs, a local guide, a blog, FAQs, or experiences, build it a full site of its own: import or create it as a new listing, and for a property you manage on someone else's behalf, set it up under that client. Once the full site is live you can remove the profile from the collection and add the new listing in its place.
