The Lead capture tab in Marketing (called Forms until October 2026) is where you manage how visitors join your list — a first-visit popup, plus every Form section already on a property or group page. The rewards program's own pop-up for returning guests is switched on and off here too.
Open it from Host Dashboard → Marketing → Lead capture, or go to /host?tab=guests&marketingSub=forms.
Looking for the questions you send to booked guests — arrival details, dietary needs, their real email address? Those are guest forms, under Communication → Guest forms. See Guest Forms and Polls.
A quiet overlay the first time someone lands on a property or group site — on the Home tab unless you choose other pages. They can leave an email and, with consent, join the same Audience you email from.
A popup's placement has two levels: the site, then the pages of that site. You set both when you create it and can change them any time, from either place:
Both open the same Where this popup shows dialog.

Click Save. The design and the on/off switch stay as they were, so a popup that is on starts showing in its new place right away. If the popup had an existing discount code attached and that code belongs to a site it no longer shows on, the popup keeps the same percent, code, and label and Haven creates the code on the site a visitor claims it from.
A site-specific popup beats an all-sites popup on that site. You can have at most one all-sites popup per kind, and at most one popup per individual site — a site that already has its own popup is greyed out in the picker until you move or delete that one.
If our team has set up a second popup on one of your sites for you, for example a guest offer on Home and an owner offer on your management page, each one opens only over its own pages. A visitor who closes or answers one still sees the other when they reach its page, and each popup shows to a visitor only once.
In the popup editor, the left side has Test on your site under the steps. It lists each page the popup shows on. Click one to open that page of your real site in a new tab with the popup showing as a Host preview — this works before the popup is turned on. Only you see it, and nothing you type into it is saved, emailed, or added to your Audience. Unsaved edits are saved first, so the site shows what the editor shows. For a popup on all sites of a kind, the link opens the site chosen in the preview picker above the phone preview.
Typography, colors, logo, and the bottom image inherit from the site they opened. Colors, logo, and the bottom image stay that way until you override them in Style — typography always follows the listing. On an all-sites popup, the editor preview can switch which site’s brand it inherits.
The popup opens only over the pages you set under Where it shows — the Home tab alone unless you chose Every page or picked pages. A visitor who lands on a page it skips sees it when they open one it shows on. If you move a popup to a different site, its picked pages reset to Home only, since they belonged to the old site. A page you later delete or hide simply drops out.
The popup shows once per visitor per your account, on that domain. Dismissing or submitting sets a cookie so they do not see another popup from you on the same domain — including if both a group page and a property page have one.
Custom domains cannot share that cookie with your Haven domain. A visitor who sees it on one domain may see it again on the other.
It does not show to you on your own site, inside the site editor preview, or to a signed-in visitor who is already on your Audience.
A discount is optional — you can set it in the create wizard or later in the editor. For one site you can attach an existing code or write a percent and code. For all sites, store a percent and code on the popup; Haven creates the code on the site they submitted from when they claim.
Contacts from the popup land as the Guest or Owner type you chose at create, with any tags you added. A person already on your Audience keeps their type; new tags merge onto them. A brand-new contact can start an automation whose trigger is Added to contacts — see Building Your Own Campaigns.
Emails can collect the same channels later. Add a Stay in touch block from the email editor — guests open a form for SMS, WhatsApp, and marketing terms, and submitting updates their Audience row. See Marketing Email Editor.
The code is still delivered if they skip the phone step. Skip leaves SMS and WhatsApp transactional-only. Continuing the email step opts Email Marketing in. Submitting a phone or WhatsApp number opts that channel in on your Audience. List SMS and WhatsApp are stored on your list for that person. They are not the account-wide Haven reservation-SMS flag guests see at checkout.
If your rewards program is on, a Rewards pop-up card sits with your pop-ups. It is built in: a signed-in guest who has points to spend is greeted on your sites with how many points they hold, what they are worth, and how much of a stay they can cover.
The card is not there while your rewards program is off. If a partner runs the program for your listings, the card shows the switch as theirs to change, and the editor only previews it. The same card is on the Loyalty & referrals tab.
Every Form section you have added on a property or group page appears here, with a preview of its fields. Click a card to edit the form in a side panel without leaving Lead capture: its heading and intro, the fields, the submit button and thank-you message, Notify these emails, and Add to Audience with optional tags. It is the same editor the site editor opens, and changes save automatically. There is no Guest or Owner picker on a page form. Leave Notify these emails empty to send submissions to your account notification emails (or your account email when none are set). Add a new one from Marketing → Lead capture:
In the form builder, Notify these emails is that form’s recipient list. Addresses you type there replace the account list for that form only. An empty list uses the account list at Settings → Account & Profile → Notifications → Notification emails. The old footer box is only a note that links to Notification emails — recipients are not edited on the Footer tab.
To send people to a page form from an email, add a Link to a form block in the email editor (type /form). It opens the page scrolled to that form. See Marketing Email Editor.
A form that writes to Audience needs a marketing consent checkbox; only a checked box adds the submitter. A consenting submitter from the Owner lead form is saved in Audience with the owner tag. Answers show as Form responses on the contact in Audience — including a matching submission from a community you own, even if they joined another way. The section shows the 50 most recent responses when there are more. Submissions are kept on the contact.
