Haven connects to Lodgify natively with your Lodgify API key — listings,
photos, rates, availability, reservations, and guest messages stay in
sync while Lodgify remains your operations hub.
- In Lodgify, open Settings → Public API
(direct link)
and copy your API key. The Public API is included on most Lodgify plans
(not Starter) — if the page is missing, contact Lodgify about upgrading.
- In Haven, go to Integrations → Connect Lodgify and paste the key.
- Pick which listings to import (each Lodgify room type becomes its own
Haven listing; multi-room properties are labelled "House — Room").
Moving from Airbnb or another PMS? If you already have these properties
on Haven, you match each Lodgify listing to its property first, so it
keeps your content and is not duplicated. See
Switch or Add a PMS Without Duplicating Your Properties.
- Listing content — title, description, address, guest/bedroom/
bathroom counts, amenities, photos (in your Lodgify order), pets and
adults-only rules, check-in/check-out times. Synced fields are locked in
the Haven editor so Lodgify stays the source of truth; you can unlock
individual fields.
- Fees & taxes — cleaning/linen and similar fees, plus your Lodgify
tax rules. Anything Haven can't represent exactly (for example
per-person tourist taxes) is flagged on the listing instead of being
charged wrongly.
- Discounts & extra-guest pricing — Lodgify promotions with a
7-night or 30-night minimum stay become your weekly and monthly
discounts, early-booker and last-minute promotions become those
discounts, and your extra-guest fee imports from your rates. Promotions
Haven can't apply exactly (promo codes, date windows, fixed amounts)
are flagged on the pricing field instead.
- Cancellation policy, payment schedule & security deposit — read
from your Lodgify rental policy through booking quotes. Your payment
split (such as 50% at booking, the rest 7 days before arrival) becomes
Haven's payment schedule, so a non-refundable policy works the same way
it does in Lodgify. A fixed deposit imports; a percentage deposit, or one
Lodgify leaves for you to collect manually, has to be set in Haven.
- Calendar — two-way — nightly rates, minimum stays, blocked dates,
check-in/out day rules, and your booking window sync in. If you turn on
"Manage pricing in Haven", Haven pushes rates and blocks back to
Lodgify.
- Reservations — two-way — bookings from any channel in Lodgify
block your Haven calendar within seconds; Haven direct bookings appear
in Lodgify (source "Book with Haven") with the guest details and a note
showing what was charged. A booking request you have not answered yet
appears in Lodgify as an Open booking request that does not block
the dates, or as a Tentative hold if you have turned on Hold dates for
pending requests. Either way it carries the Haven total, the guest's
message from the request shows in its conversation as their message,
and a note lists the Haven price breakdown. If your Lodgify website has
no active subscription, Lodgify refuses booking creates and the request
arrives as a plain enquiry instead, which Lodgify's API cannot attach a
price to — the note still carries the amounts. Payments stay on Haven's
Stripe — amounts won't show as "paid" inside Lodgify.
- Guest messages — when you connect, the conversation history of your
Lodgify bookings is imported into Haven's inbox (marked as read). New
guest messages arrive within seconds. Replies you type in Haven show in
the Lodgify conversation (Lodgify does not send them again). Replies you
type in Lodgify on a booking that came from Haven appear in Haven's inbox
and are delivered to the guest by Haven within seconds. Lodgify's own
automatic emails on those bookings are not forwarded, because Haven
sends its own booking messages.
- Add-ons — Lodgify add-ons import as Haven offers where their
pricing maps exactly.
Not synced: reviews (Lodgify has no reviews API), listing edits made in
Haven (Lodgify content is one-way in), and arrival content Lodgify's API
doesn't expose — house rules text, arrival directions, guest access notes,
Wi-Fi details, neighborhood and getting-around descriptions, and property
type. Your go-live checklist lists these under Lodgify doesn't share
these so you can add them once in Haven.
Listing content language
Under the connected Lodgify card on the Integrations tab, Listing content language starts collapsed. Open it to keep incoming copy in the language Lodgify already uses, or to translate new updates into one language you choose. Click Sync now on that same card to pull the latest listings, photos, calendars, and reservations without waiting for the next automatic poll. Account-wide pricing rewards such as the direct booking discount live on Listings → gear icon → Property settings, not on this tab.
Your Haven AI assistant can answer guests in their Lodgify booking conversation. Choose Draft for approval or Send automatically under Communication → Message automations, or on the Lodgify card. Lodgify reports guest messages to Haven but not the replies you type in Lodgify, so pause the assistant on a thread you are handling there. See AI replies to OTA guests.
- One test booking helps. Lodgify requires an internal "website id"
for API bookings, which Haven learns from any existing booking in your
account. Brand-new accounts with zero bookings ever should create one
test booking in Lodgify first (any dates — you can delete it).
- Disconnecting stops syncing but leaves imported listings in Haven.
Your API key stays valid in Lodgify until you regenerate it there.
- Multi-unit room types (several identical units pooled under one
room type) import read-only for now.
